I would like to start by saying that I am no friend to Realtors. I have had several bad experiences with them while living in NY and while here in WV. I am very demanding of a Realtor's time and patience. However since October, there has been one Realtor who has completely changed my mind on the subject. I would say that the Keller Williams company is extremely fortunate to have Howard Kronthal on their team. His work ethic, knowledge of the market, time management and personality put him head and shoulders above his competition. He is a shining example of what a Realtor should be and I can say from speaking to his past clients that my experience is not an isolated one. He is always there with a smile on his face.
Another unique quality that Howard Possesses is that he is willing to actually represent his clients and their interests. We have taken several chances submitting offers that could be considered extremely low on several properties. I have never met a Realtor who hasn't tried to talk me into offering more, until now. Howard lets me offer what I am comfortable with. He never flinched when I went from wanting a house to looking at building lots, even though his commission would be considerably lower.
Howard Kronthal has set himself apart by his work ethic and professionalism. I am in the Air Force and we have 3 core values. Integrity, Excellence in all we do, and Service before self. I would say that one of the best examples of those values that I have seen in my 12 years of service is Howard Kronthal. Although I know I am not his only client, he has made me feel like I am, and that is priceless. He will be the only Realtor I use and recommend, as long as he is in the business.

When Chuck and I decided to move back to the East Coast from Texas we were not sure where to turn or who to call. We knew we wanted to live in WV but we weren’t 100%, and since Keller Williams had an outstanding reputation and seemed to be the leaders in Real Estate for MD, VA and WV, we gave them a call. Howard was our realtor and how lucky were we!
We could not afford to fly back and forth from Texas to house shop (yes sounds crazy) so Howard hooked us up via the internet, and made the personal visits to the homes we picked out online. He connected us to a fabulous loan officer who quickly got the ball rolling.
While we were waiting for papers to process etc, Howard ALWAYS phoned us even if it was just to “Check In” and see if we had any questions etc. I don’t think I ever made a call to him, he always beat me to it.
Within a couple of months we were living back East and couldn’t be happier. Working with him and his company was a fabulous experience and made our move from Texas a stress free event. I will always refer him to my friends, family and Co-workers”.

We recently purchased a "sold as is" home with Howard as our real estate agent. The home was listed with a different agent. Howard's perspective and insight was very helpful and valuable in the negotiation process. He responded to our requests for information in a timely manner. He was always courteous and polite. My occupation requires extreme candor and integrity. Two things of which I also hold in high regard in my personal life. Howard Kronthal was highly recommended to my family by a close family friend. After several meetings with sufficient realtors Howard was a breath of fresh air. Howard has drive, energy, and ambition but above that he truly cares for the average homeowner. This was my family's first home and thus the first opportunity to sell a house. Howard was considerate of our lack of experience and walked us through the entire process (and of course the house). Howard was referred to us by friends in Northern Virginia a few months before we were to re-locate from San Diego. Little did we know moving to Virginia would be such a daunting process that would include countless open houses, bidding wars and escalation clauses.
